As your Organisation grows and changes, you may need to update user permissions, remove former colleagues, or change who manages your Organisation Account.
Regularly reviewing who has access helps keep your Organisation up to date and ensures the right people can contribute to accessibility work.
Before you start
You must be an Admin or Primary Admin to manage team members.
There must always be at least one Primary Admin assigned to an Organisation.
The Primary Admin cannot be removed until another user has been assigned as Primary Admin.
View your team members
- Sign in to your All In Account.
-
If you belong to more than one Organisation, select the Organisation you want to manage.
If you only belong to one Organisation, you will be taken directly to that Organisation's dashboard.
- In the Organisation manager menu, select Organisation account settings.
- Select Manage staff accounts.
You will see a list of all users who have access to your Organisation, including:
- Name
- Email address
- User role
Change a user's role
Find out more about different user roles and what they mean in Add team members.
If you need to update a user's permissions:
- Find the user in the list.
- Select Edit permission.
- Choose a new role from the dropdown list.
- Select Change role.
The user's permissions will be updated immediately.
Remove a team member
If a user no longer needs access to your Organisation:
- Find the user in the list.
- Select Remove user.
The user will no longer have access to your Organisation.
The Primary Admin cannot be removed from the Organisation.
If you need to remove the current Primary Admin, you must first assign another user as Primary Admin.
Change the Primary Admin
The Primary Admin is responsible for managing key Organisation settings.
This includes:
- Managing subscriptions
- Updating Organisation details
To change the Primary Admin:
- Find the current Primary Admin at the top of the user list.
- Select Change Primary Admin.
- Choose a new Primary Admin from the dropdown list.
- Select Change Primary Admin.
The new user will immediately become the Primary Admin.
Leaving your Organisation?
If you are the Primary Admin and are leaving your organisation, we strongly recommend transferring Primary Admin rights to another team member as part of your handover process.
The Primary Admin has already left
If the Primary Admin has already left your organisation and no one else can access Primary Admin functions, contact the Subscriber Support team.
Email: subscribers@allin.zendesk.com
We will help you update the Primary Admin for your Organisation.
What happens next?
Once your changes have been saved, they take effect immediately.
Team members will have access based on their updated role and permissions.
